FTSTA		Acute care common stem training 2 years rotating through ITU, anaesthetics, emergency and acute medicine *

Specialist Training in Anaesthesia 7 year competency based training programme

Primary Examination taken after 2 years

Final Fellowship exam taken after 4 years

Consultant Post

* Trainees who have done 2 years in an acute care common stem training scheme will enter year 2 of run through training.
