Cardiogenic shock - virtual educational meeting November 3rd 2026
Friday 16th October 2026
Delivery of all Wales cross speciality teaching focussing on cardiogenic shock. Sessions will run monthly - first one November the 3rd at 6pm where someone will present a case followed by an in depth examination of physiology and evidence. Please see MS Teams link below.
The aim is to bring residents together from Cardiology, ICM, ED, anaesthesia and acute medicine.
There is hope to grow sessions over the year with the main ambitions being to get external speakers and eventually a college approved CPD day in Wales on advanced cardiogenic shock management.
There will be no recording, all cases will need to be anonymised prior to presentation and we make it very clear this is an educational meeting - NOT a shock call service for acute advice on cardiogenic shock. There will be minutes and learning outcomes from each meeting.
