At the beginning of this academic year, the Welsh School is delighted to share with you the new Welsh School of Anaesthesia, Intensive care and Pain Medicine’s August newsletter. This is a new venture for the School, written by residents for residents, which will become a quarterly valuable resource providing information and keeping you up to date with all training topics. Huge thanks to our wonderful and committed resident representatives who have worked hard to produce this first edition for you all. Transfer Courses for 2026 - plan ahead and get your space booked now!

There are now high-quality, free Transfer Training Courses available for any stage of training to develop the mandatory competencies of the RCoA 2021 and FICM curriculums. These are delivered by the experienced Transfer Practitioners and the course is based at The Grange University Hospital, Cwmbran NP44 8YN.
