South Wales Obstetric Anaesthetists' Forum (SWOAF)
Details
This group of anaesthetists with an interest in obstetrics meets twice a year in May and November. The meetings comprise of a guest speaker giving a topical presentation, followed by trainee presentations in the categories of quality improvement projects, research and case presentations.
This provides an excellent opportunity to present in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with an emphasis on sharing good ideas and learning from unusual cases. Prizes for the best 3 presentations are on offer. Colleagues from North Wales may be able to join virtually. Look out for posters about 6 weeks in advance usually September and March in your local department.
SWOAF may also be able to support local quality improvement projects with small grants and written application to SWOAF for consideration is encouraged.
