The APAGBI have just published valuable new guidance to support the curriculum requirements for all Stages of training in paediatric anaesthesia. The guidance has been produced in conjunction with the RCoA/APA with the support of Dr Mari Roberts and Dr Gethin Pugh who are both Wales anaesthetists. It consists of suggested reading, a variety of podcasts and tutorials and an excellent paediatric anaesthesia for beginner’s guide. Anaesthetists in Training are invited to submit an abstract for e-presentation at the virtual Patient Safety in Perioperative Practice meeting. Four abstracts will be selected by a panel to present their poster orally and have the opportunity to win a prize. A trainee must be the lead author. Posters should fall under the theme of 'Patient Safety and / or Quality Improvement'. The closing date for entries is midnight on Monday 13 January 2025. A panel of RCoA judges will assess all submissions shortly after the closing date. Authors will be notified week commencing 3 February 2025 if they have been invited to display their poster at the Patient Safety in Perioperative Practice conference.
